ABOUT US

Our Mission

Our mission is to raise money for and awareness of childhood cancers, particularly Sarcomas, and to focus resources on finding cures and improving the lives of those diagnosed.

We are TNT STRONG, Fighting for a Future Without Ewing Sarcoma.

The TNT Strong Foundation was created to honor the incredible resilience of Tyler Trexler, who has battled Ewing Sarcoma four times with unwavering determination. Tyler’s journey—from countless treatments at Duke University to graduating from UNC Chapel Hill and building a life in Orlando—has been defined by strength, perseverance, and an unbreakable spirit. His fight is far from over, and so is ours.

Our mission is clear: to raise money and awareness of childhood cancers, particularly Sarcomas, and to focus resources on finding cures and improving the lives of those diagnosed. No one should have to endure this fight alone. Through TNT Strong, we are building a community of warriors, caregivers, and advocates dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those affected.

Since our foundation’s inception, we have worked to provide resources for families navigating the challenges of Ewing Sarcoma while helping to advance the research needed to improve treatments and, ultimately, find a cure. Whether it’s through fundraising events, direct patient support, or collaborating with leading researchers, we are committed to changing the future for those battling this disease.

Ewing Sarcoma is relentless—but so are we. Join us in the fight. Together, we are #TNTStrong.

We Are Committed to:

Ewing Sarcoma: The Reality in Numbers

Ewing Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer that primarily impacts children, teenagers, and young adults. Despite advancements in cancer treatment, this disease remains incredibly challenging to fight. Survival rates depend on factors like the stage of diagnosis and the patient’s age, but the outlook for metastatic and recurrent cases is especially dire. According to the American Cancer Society, the 5-year survival rate is 82% for localized cases, 71% for regional, and 39% for distant cases. When all SEER* stages are combined, the overall 5-year survival rate is 63%. Relapses adversely impact these statistics, highlighting the urgent need for better treatments, more research, and greater support for those in the fight.
